Hi! Need help on how to treat the sign and seal fee of an Architect if he is also an employee of the said services. Our nature of business is a construction - we have employees of licensed Engineers and Architects who can do the sign and seal of our designs for our projects. My questions is how are we going to treat the service fee for the sign and seal of our project designs if the person who do the sign and seal is an employee. Which tax rate will be applied for this case? Is it the professional fee or the Compensation payroll tax? Please advise. thanks!

what was the understanding when you hired these guys? when a company hires a lawyer, i would think he should not be paid extra if he had to get a notarial license to be used for company purposes
