first, it should be demonstrable that a compressed work week was discussed and agreed with between the management and employees. it cannot be imposed by management alone. moreover, it should be reported to the dole.
if your 1 hour break is compensated, then that's still permissible
if your 1 hour break is compensated, then that's still permissible
