can you guys help me out on these 2 questions. thanks!

can a union use union funds for profit like trade in the stock market, venture in capital enterprise etc?

may a union in a company undergoing corporate rehabilitation enter into a contract with another company to utilize its temporarily out of work members and where by union gets to keep 10% of fees and charges to pay union expenses.

I used to be a union steward but my union never entered into such transaction.

Get a copy of your union by laws and read carefully the articles that deals with union funds purpose. Also, your union must distribute a monthly statement of funds receivables, liabilities and expenditures signed by your union accountant. This is a must for transparency of your union officials.
