Dear attorney,

I made a mistake in my company and they didn't charge a case (civil) if I have to pay a humongous amount. Otherwise, they will be forced to file a case against me.

Is it possible for me to leave the country before they file the case? Will the case follow me to that country?

Thanks for your inputs.

if it is a civil case, it cannot be used to impede your right to travel. a crim case can. if will be unlikely that it will be brought to where you will go. that is possible only in sensational cases or if they are willing to really spend on it.

in a civil case, they have to find property in your name.
