Hello,
My filipina mother (who now lives in New Zealand) purchased some land in Negros Oriental in 1977 that she is now looking to sell.
When we visited the registry office in Siaton two years ago, they said she was recorded as the registered owner however there is no title for the land. They advised that she would need to have the land re-measured in order to get a title.
We needing advice on what the steps are from here, and if we can do this from overseas?
We have the original deed of absolute sale and tax declarations.
