My office mate stole a wrist watch from the bag of one of our directors during an event. She wrapped it with a tissue and a handkerchief and placed it in her bag. When our director knew that the wrist watch is missing, she immediately conducted an inspection to all employers who were in the event. when it was her turn, the wrist watch was finally found inside her bag. So a citizen arrest happened. My question is, will it still be a Qualified Theft even if the item was recovered during the inspection?
