Hi..
I just passed the Civil Service Commission Professional Eligibility, i have 100 unit of College credits and a technical diploma of 4-year US Navy Sponsored Apprenticeship Program (1988) which is recognized by the US Department of Labor and Philippines DOLE..
I am currently working in a Private firm and my credentials were highly recognized by foreign employers.
I tried applying for Government vacancies, but i can only apply for SG-08 position, minimum requirement 2 yrs college education and Sub-pro eligibility.
Our training was one of the prestigious technical training that only the chosen few can pass, and Im proud to be one of them.
To my surprise, this one of a kind training is not recognized by the Civil Service Commission as equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree..
Can any body here enlighten me please.. i just can't accept the fact that no provision that covers this issue.. please help.
