Adoption Process

Hi all. Won't go round in circles. So here it is. I have a daughter from my ex bf and now i am married to another man. Im trying to find out the process of him adopting my daughter. My daughter is using my middle and last name and my mom is the one who signed the acknowledgement of paternity at the back of the birth cert. The biological father of my daughter is not listed in my daughter's birth certificate -- as in blank.

Now we're married, my husband wants to adopt my daughter and use his last name. Anyone knows the process of doing so? I have reaf a lot of forums and all, but im confuse where to start.
