may KALTAS ang feb25 dahil special working holiday

Good day po.. Nakuha ko po ang aking payslip at nakakagulat na may kaltas kami mga empleyado. Ang feb25 ay edsa revolution so ang alam namin ay wala pasok kami at ang nature ng work namin ay educational institution. Sa loob ng walong taon ngayon lang sila ngkaltas. At hindi kami na inform na my kaltas na pla ngayon ang feb25. Anu po ang dapat namin gawin? Anu legal action ang pwede namin gawin? Thank you in advance

Ang Feb 25 2016 ay special NON-working holiday.

And the general rule on such a day is "No-Work, No-Pay."

Pero ngayon lang po sila ngkaltas.. For almost 8 yes ko sa school na ito, ngayon lang po sa ngkaltas. Nkalagay po dun sa gen rule na "unless there is a favorable company policy, PRACTICE or collective bargaining agreement (CBA)"

Since 2009, "Special holiday" ang 25 Feb for schools.

Base sa mga proclamation, ngayon lang (ulit) naging "Special NON-WORKING holiday" ito.
