Libel case : Email , Private message on Friendster and Facebook

if it is a private message which can be read only by the account owner, then the more proper charge will be unjust vexation.

if everyone else can read it such as a post on the wall, then it can be libel.

either way, you should be able to prove that it was she who posted or sent the message. the normal defense is to deny that some one else made or accessed the account.

Can anyone file a case to someone talks about dirt in public or posted it to friendster wall when that dirt is actually true? I have a friend who made a secret mistake. Let's call her F1. F1 is married then she had sex with another guy. Well actually its not so secret after all when one of our friends knows it too, let's call her F2. F1 and F2 were together that night when the secret happened but when F1 and F2 are no longer friends.. F2 posted about that secret in the internet and threat F1 that F2 will tell her husband about that secret. Is there anything F1 can do against this scandalous actions F2 made? thank you for the replies and help..gb.

opo, na file ko na po last oct.10 lang..baka po kasi makaalis ng bansa kaya po gusto ko sanang pa hold departure, tumwag naman po ako sa doj di daw sila tumatanggap ngaun kasi daw po binago na daw ung circular etc di ko naman po maintindihan,tinawagan ko po muna kasi plan ko po pumunta ng friday sa doj para i file at i pahold ung tao..yun naman po sinabi kanina sakin sa doj dont if its true...
