Dear Sir,
We are poised to purchase a 2 hectare agricultural land with coconuts
I have communicated with the Owner who is a Filipina, living in the USA (not sure for now if she is a US citizen)
She has given me the following info/documents
- Her ID
- Tax records
- Photo copy of title
- Location plan
- Statement of “no tenants”
She promised to send the SPA (to her niece) when I decide to close the deal
She will have a (retired) lawyer in the Philippines to represent her.
For my part,
- I visited the place
- I secured a true copy of title.
Are these enough for me to proceed with the purchase?
Is there anything more that I need to be aware of?
