I have a question, do we have any jurisprudence cases regarding syndicated estafa?

In addition, a group of employees filed a syndicated estafa case against an electric company on the ground that the latter has been deducting SSS premiums from the said employees for the past 12 months but never remitted the same to SSS.
Is there syndicated estafa? thanks,...

PD 1689 may does seem to apply but the question is that if there are any juris cases to support the same. Surprised
