The Land title was not yet transferred to my mother's name and the owner of the land is already DEAD.
Now, my mother wants to register her Sari- Sari Store Business. So, she went to the City Hall to process the permit but she was advised by the Zoning Department Officer to get an "Affidavit" for her to get the permit but didn't tell her what type.
PS: She has been paying the Land Tax for 10 years now.
Question: What Affidavit should she get?
Is it legal to set up a business that is not in your name.
