If I would give a resignation letter is it already effective or there is a need for the company's approval? What if I want to leave w/in 30 days but in my contract it is stated that I should give 60 days prior notice, what can I do make my resignation quick as possible?

The provision in the Labor is 30 days effectivity. The 60 days stipulation in your employment contract is void for being contrary to law.
