Halos pareho po except that, nag-AWOL po ako 4 months before mag-end ng bond contract. And now, i'm engaged in a business na masasabi kong pareho ang nature sa company ko dati. Pareho lamang po ang nature but i did not copy the curriculum kung meron ang company ko dati since i continue researching and learning thru the internet. ano pong habol ng company sa akin? and ano pong dapat kong gawin since nakatanggap na ako ng letter from their lawyer na i have to settle the amount of P50,000.00 na nakasaad sa bond contract? pwede ko bang ipalagay na ito'y panakot lamang? at ano pong mangyayari if i continue ignoring the letter? sana po'y matulungan nyo ako. salamat po.

In my opinion, before you can be made liable, they have to show the amount of damages, if any, that they suffered. I do not know of any company who went after an ex-employee for the amount of P50K, but that does not mean that they will. It will be mere speculation whether it is for show or they are really serious.

The company said that the 50 thousand is the value of my training before i was sent to the branch as training and business assistant. My mind set is should they ever come after the amount of 50K, they should pro-rate it according to the length of my service to them, that is to say 8 months over 12 months(1 year) contract with them. In the first place, i was thinking if this kind of contract really is legal. i have a batchmate who also left the company before the contract lapsed. She said she had no worries because she thinks the company is too busy to run after the unfinished 50K bond contract of its employees. should i suppose that way? please help. thanks.

Hi guys, have question. When you agree on a contract to work on a company and you signed it, but suddenly you change your mind not to pursue the work. Will it charge you breach of contract? even though you have not started working or taking training at all, at the company? What will I do?

are you in breach of the contract? yes. will they come after you? we can only speculate. is it likely? IMO, no. if they do, they have to prove what damages they suffered.
