Arresto Menor

Good day po. Isa po akong teacher and I have been teaching for almost 9 years but just a month ago I suffered from sore throat and what they call as allergic pharyngolaryngitis. Allthough I can still speak, I can no longer stand speaking for several hours. I have consulted a doctor about my case and she told me I have to have voice rest. My problem is, I don't wanna take the risk of having such illness since the doctor said that I acquired this through my working environment. I am just wondering on what I should do, should I file a resignation or simply take a leave of absence. The school is currently accusing me of abandoning my work even if I have informed them of my absence and even I have provided them with a medical certificate. I hope someone could help me with this. I really can't afford to risk my health. Thank you and God Bless.
