Estafa case Inquiry

Good day!!

Hi, please help me with my problem... My cousin went to our house 2 years ago,she brought her small antique jewelry box. (according to her it is antique). She tried to sell it on antique shop her in our area but none is interested,she asked for my help to sell it because she needed the money.She said just try to sell it on reasonable amount (Both of us don't know how much the value of the item).I brought the item to one of the antique shop here in our area also, the owner of antique shop told me that the item is made of brass and the value is 5hundred only because it is not antique.the owner gave me 5 hundred,i kept the money and waited for my cousin to cameback,my cousin don't have cellphone so i can't call her,i don't even know there home address (she lives from distance from us).. from that day on, i never heard from her.. after 2 years she came back and said she don't want to sell the item anymore,i tried to go back on the antique shop and check if the item is still there, unfortunately the item is not there anymore the owner told us that they sold it for 1500.00 pesos.My cousin is filing me an estafa case now because i could not return the item. what should i do please help me...
