inquiry about estafa

Good day! I just want to seek legal advice. I have a direct selling business pero dhil sa mga hndi nagbbyad na dealers I was not able to pay my debt to my supplier. I issued some checks but ask her not to deposit the check because of insufficient funds. She still deposited it so nagbounce ung check. Then nakiusap ako sa knya for consideration na unti unti ko na lng byaran kc nga d na ko nkacngil. Kaso ang gnawa nya pinull out nya ung mga items sa store ko ng wlang pasabi at wla pa ako. Then d na sya nagparamdam all the while akala ko quits na kmi kc kumuha na sya ng mga items ko. Then after 2 yrs napadalhan ako ng letter from a public atty na me complain daw sya skin at idedemanda raw nya ko ng estafa. Ano ang dpat kong gwin eh buong akala ko tlaga dhil nagpull out sya ng items at d na rin nagpakita clear na ang utang ko.. Pls help me I am really bothered. Thanks...

a public attorney meaning from the public attorney's office? i take it this is just a demand letter and not subpoena?
