Arresto Menor

Hi. I really need advice and I really want to keep my Family! On Dec. 30th my wife and I got in a heated argument were i ended up slapping her once. I have never done this before and I have been apologizing to her daily. I have tried everything. Does this constitute to violence against women? Am i liable to go to jail? What should I do? I cant let 16 years of my life with her and our 3 kids just fall apart. I love her sooo much!

from a purely legal standpoint, yes it is VAWC. did she file a case?
