Is it legal for the company to hold their employee's salary due to poor performance? That usually do it as part of motivating employees.

We are in a marketing/sales company and they make as sign a contract that they can do such thing but is it really legal? Of couse we had no choice but to sign and continue for to we already spent time and allowances (starting from job aplication and almost 2 months trainings).

what is your pay structure? is it a flat salary? or with commissions?

Arresto Menor

They have kinsenas/katapusan(15th/30th) basic salary. With additional income as commisions if they have a sale.

in my opinion, it is not valid if you already earned your salary and commission. you can report the policy to dole
