good day po.

nakakareceive po ako ng demand letter from a telecom company that I need to pay a certain amount and if left unpaid it will result to legal actions. what legal action can they actually throw at me?

my side of the story ---

My postpaid account has a locked in period of 36 months. I started with this telecom July of 2007. almost at the end of my term I had some months unpaid(due to some financial constraints) so they disconnected my account and was receiving bills of balance plus the pre termination fee of 20,000. Then, one of their reps called me to pay for the balance and we talked about it and we agreed na bayaran lang yung unpaid months so I eventually I was able to pay all my dues up to June 2010 (supposing my term ends July 2010)I was informed beforehand that my last month is prepaid when I paid in advance when i signed up for the telecom. --- so on my end, I'm thinking I paid my dues and was able to finish the 36 months lock in period. Now I'm receiving a demand letter that I need to pay them 20,000 -- the amount of the pretermination fees (wala na yung, unpaid dues)- which I don't intend to pay since I know that I finished the 36 months lock in period and paid all my dues.


I still have my receipt of the last payment.

i hope you can help me with this.
