I am now 5 months pregnant, no husband.
I know that my baby won't have a middle name.
My Q is, can my half brother (same mom, diff dad) sign as the father on my baby's birth cert so he/she can have a middle name?
Please I need some help about this.

why would you want to do that? you want it publicly announced that you engaged in incest (even if not true) and your child is the result?

you can leave the name of father blank.

Just so she/he can have a middle name.
I kind of think that it's for documentary purposes only.
Our family doesn't care what others may think, my bro agreed and we will explain to my baby when she/he grows up.
Legally, is this right?
Will we have a problem in the future?

aside from it is untruthful, you can be made liable for the crime of simulation of birth for putting false information on a birth certificate.

your child would not be the first, nor the last illegitimate child without a named father or a middle name. don't start off his life with a lie.
