What to do with a misspelled PLACE OF BIRTH in Philippine passport?
I just found out today that my place of birth was misspelled, instead of STA. MARIA BULACAN it was STA MARA BUL. I'm so disappointed to the person who encoded it.
Can anyone help me regarding my problem. Do i need to pay for the replacement of my Passport?
By the way, i'm from Bulacan but my passport was issued at DFA BATANGAS in that case do i need to go back to Batangas or can i ask for a replacement in other DFA office?
Last question, does the place of birth really important? well i mean, do they really care about the place of my birth (it maybe a silly question but i need an assurance).
thanks!!!
