Due to acquisition of our compnay , I was asked to sign a 90 day Transition Redundancy agreement in July 14, 2011ending October 14, 2011. After a week, the Philippine director, suddenly wish to force me and pushed me out earlier and do not wan tto follow the signed agreement, for me to stay until October 14, 2011. As a single parent, and as this was sudden, I believe and planned to find work, hopefully before October 14, 2011, which is the end date of the Transition Agreement. What recourse may I have since the Philippine Director, is vent on forcing me out and not to abide by the signed agreement Sad

I am a MAnager and had discussion with her, the Filipino Manager twice:

1.In the restroom: She asked me why I am still at the office, when I do not have work anymore.
2.In her office: She told me that I need to leave earlier than the agreed date, October 14, 2011 in in the Transition/Redundancy Agreement, and even if I'm telling her aboiut what I am still working on, as mandated by my Expat MAnager, she insists that I don't have work.

I have 2 E-mails from Expat (Swiss/German)manager, stating that the Philippine Finance and Admin Manager wants to expedite the termination and wants me out right awsy..He (Expat) is not supporting the decision, because he was not informed, and the signing of the agreement is unacceptable and disadvantageous to our team. The expat manager will be on an Official Business Trip, and needs me to work for him still. The expat manager too told me thrice in our conversation, that the she(Filipino ) did not inform him about the Transition/Redundancy Agreement.

What should I do now? I'm a solo parent, and the Filipino Admin Manager, is pushing me out, 2 months ahead of the agreed date. I need to look for a job, and needs more time. The Expat Manager is not based in Manila, so he can't help me much, since the filipino Manager has Administrative rights here in Manila.

Thanks Attorney. No

write an email/letter to the filipino manager and state that as per the agreement your transition period is until later, and inquire what is her basis to declare that you are already terminated. this is to develop proof that you are being illegally terminated.
