please advise on child support

I would like to seek for your advise regarding, asking for financial support for my 1 year old and 4 months son. I had a boyfriend for almost 8 years, he got me pregnant last 2009, promised to marry me on April 2010 (I will give birth February at that year) but even though there were preparations for marriage he still dumped me for another woman which I later found out. He still gave support for the months of February 2010 / March and April. The last conversation I had with him was May 2010 when I confirmed that he really had a new girlfriend in Sitel (his office before). After that I only received texts from him until June or July 2010 only but he never showed up again until this very moment – July 21, 2011. His mother started giving me 3,000 last September 2010, and it is continuous every month. But my son is growing up already, 3,000 is only for his milk supply every month, soon he will be in school and 3,000 from his mother will not suffice anymore. Please advise me on what to do. I do not know what’s his number, where he lives now, because he ran away from his family in Antipolo as well. did he sign the child's birth certificate?

yes he did. my child uses his surname. we filed for it, he accompanied me march 2010, bago sya nag disappearing act.

anj, i recommend you first talk to the mother. if you will take legal steps, you will have to risk that the support will stop. if you are forced,send a demand letter to his mother's house as his last known address, after which you can file a petition for increase of support
