if you resign, you can't expect to receive anything aside from your last pay. you don't need a written contract to be considered a regular employee.

I have a similar case with baizhenrui. I have been working for a year now and my colleagues for almost 3 years without a contract with the company. The company, with the new management is trying to fix everything including employee contracts which is a good news.. My question is what are the company's liabilities to this? what are the technicalities to this even if the company release the employee contracts from the probationary to regular contracts, some dating back 3 years.

when you say new management, do you mean new owners? new company?

written contracts are not required. in fact be wary that there will be onerous impositions in the new contracts.
