Arresto Menor

Good morning!

I work in a GOCC. I received a suspension from our Officer in Charge. The suspension starts today. I am going to file a protest today.

A lawyer from human rights advised me to go to work today. He had a court hearing that is why he wasn't able to help me file a protest sooner, but later today he will help me file a protest.

My question is, since I haven't formally filed a protest yet, can my coming to work be used against me on the grounds of insubordination?

Another question is, if after I file the protest, while there are no decision yet, and I continue to come to work, am I entitled to my salary?

Please advise me on this. Thank you.
