THE PROPER WAY TO FILE A CASE. Please Read!

Hi, I used to work for a company here in Pampanga, as a sales personnel for a reseller. I book orders and collect for payments, so one incident happened that some money are not properly remitted so I was to blame. I accepted the responsibility about the lost money, but I dont have any cash to pay for it, so I gave a gadget which would cost about 25 thousand, and ask them to sign that they have received it. And then I quit my job. after almost 5 months of rest one employee from the said company went to our shop and said they will file a case against me if i dont pay in cash about the said money i would be in jail, so our workers we're shocked and so am I, and so are my parents. I just want to ask if this is the right way to inform a person about filing the case. its humilitiang on my part. To the fact that they are knowledgeable about my home address. They have no letter or whatever about the case its verbal. thanks! please do answer.

how did he do it? did the workers hear it from him directly?

Last night I talked to our employee and ask of what and how exactly it happened, and in details they relayed the story, in a tactless manner this employee from my previous work said it out loud. "Where is the owner we want to talk to her because if she wont pay in cash we would sue her and she'd be in jail". They could have sent me an email or went directly to our home address. I tried calling the operations manager and ask about it and he said he would talk to this employee as soon as possible because he was not informed about this.

you can file a slander case against that employee at the prosecutor's office. or at the bgy if you live in the same city of municipality.

you can use it to prove your claim that you already settled with them.
