i need legal advice on what to do.. my grandmother in states died last year and i was informed by my aunt who is also the executor of the will that i am one of the heirs of my late grandmother's estate. the problem is that she wants me to sign a special power of attorney for her to be able to sell the said property, I did not sign the said document because i wanted that property but i am a filipino citizen, no US visa and never been in the states. my aunt told me that there is no land title yet under my name but my name is in the will but she did not give me any papers regarding the estate. They already file the estate for probate in states. My question is how can i inherit the said property ? and will my aunt in the states be able to sell that property without my approval ?

sorry, it is dangerous to answer your question. the law that applies will be the state law where your grandmother resided. of that we are ignorant. you should inquire at US-based websites.
