Loan from Lending Firm with Check

good day attorney. i had a loan from a financial institution for 15,000. the only method of payment that they require was a check. i had to open a checking account and signed several checks for up to 1 year (duration of the loan), then i just had to deposit my payment to that checking account. however, during Typhoon Ondoy, i called and informed them that my payment might be delayed because there were no banks. then the one who answered my phone just told me, "sir, problema nyo na po yun." i got upset due to lack of compassion and understanding, so i stopped depositing my payments.

1. what can they file against me?
2. what if i don't receive their summons / subpoena (if any)?

they will have to send you a notice of dishonor. try not to receive the personally. they may file a bp22 case against you, and it can still be resolved if even if you are not able to file a counter affidavit.
