can this be a case of slander w/ harassment suit

Kindly provide me legal advice on my situation.

Last year, my aunt in Malaysia and her Chinese husband invited me to go to Malaysia for a 3 month tourist visit visa and at the same time look for a job there. They volunteered to pay for my airticket and everything that i'll be needing during my stay in KL. They were able to apply a Domestic Helper work permit and they said it is ok to work in an office. I stayed there for almost 8 months. A friend of hers allowed me to work in their company as a clerk, even without a valid work permit.To cut the story short, things did not end well between us. Now they are harassing me to pay them 100,000 Pesos for the work permit, air ticket and show money that they spent for me.When the work permit came out already, they told me i can no longer use it and that i have to go back to the Philippines. She is now spreading nasty rumors about me on Facebook. Moreover, she always send text messages to my family and relatives calling me different names and really trying to ruin my name. She said her husband will file a case against me if i will not pay her the 100,000 pesos and she will contact tv networks to announce on tv and post our pictures and tell everyone that we are very dangerous individuals. Please advise if it is really my responsibility to pay her the money eventhough i did not stay in Malaysia, use the work permit and work there and earn money. Can I file a case of slander, libel and harassment suit against them? Can she really file a case against me for not paying her the money? My Family and I really believe that we do not owe them anything..Thanks!!

are you back in the philippines? i do not believe any case they will file will prosper. you can file libel against them, but were they in the philippines when they made those posts and texts?

I came back last week of March. Until now my Aunt is still harassing me. sending txt messages to my mom and my sister and to our other relatives. I changed my sim card so she really cannot send me any txt msgs. My sister and I are planning to go to UP Law on Monday to ask for legal assistance. My original plan was to just ignore her words. Nakakahiya kse to file a case since we are relatives and things like this should not happen within family members. But, I really cannot take it anymore. I want to teach them a lesson. Even on Facebook she continue to post extremely awful remarks about me and my family. She said her husband will file a case against me if i will not pay them 100,000 pesos.
