What is the prescriptive period in filing a case for damages and what counter suit can I complain against the complainant?

Nabangga po kasi ako last Feb 2, sa may C5 nangyari ito. Nagpunta kami sa Camp Karinggal at nakakuha kami ng Police Report. Pero di po kami nagkausap ng maayos kasi ayaw niya makipagusap ng Insurance nalang, gusto niya daw sa Kasa. Hinaharass niya po kami , sinasabihan na kakasuhan daw niya ako. Lahat naman po ng pwedeng gawin , ginawa na namin. Tumawag na din ang Insurance sa kanya since ang kotse ko ay naka insured ng Comprehensive insurance. Ng una , tinatakot niya po ako na Lawyer daw po siya ,pero dun sa calling card niya , wala namang nakasulat na lawyer. Kakasuhan daw niya po ako ng "Damages" , What is the prescriptive period on filing such case? Tapos kanina po , tumawag after 2 months, tinatakot yung maid namin, sinabi naman ngayon , SPO2 daw siya. Diba under sa Philippine Law , pwede siyang kasuhan ng harassment & Usurpation of Authority? Thanks

if you can prove that he presented himself as a police officer, he can be made liable for usurpation.

prescription for criminal case is 2 months for light offense. for a civil case for damages, 4 years.
