1Termination due to gross negligence... Empty Termination due to gross negligence... Sun May 22, 2011 9:37 pm

Eight years ago, i was terminated from my job as a Junior Asst. Manager of a commercial bank. I was asked to explain in writing why I should not be terminated. And so I did. I even faced a panel of special action committee and defended myself.

One month later, I received a letter from the bank asking me to pay my housing loan. Another month passed, the Bangko Sentral wrote me a letter informing me that I was terminated by the bank due to gross negligence. ( being a supervisor to a staff who stole deposits of clients).

I appealed to the commercial bank and the Bangko Sentral but it was all in vain. I got depressed for years even up to present...I received nothing from the bank. They destroyed my career, the future of my family and my life. I didn't stole any single centavo. I'm not a criminal.

Now I recall that the bank never sent me a notice of my termination nor I received or signed their letter acknowledging receipt of it. Is there any bearing of my non-receipt of their notice of my termination? Can I run after the bank? PLEASE HELP...

8 years? illegal termination can be questioned only within 4 years.

you can still try, and let them assert prescription as their defense.
