Please give me an advice. The company that I work for hasn't remited SSS, philhealth and Pag-big fund for the last 12 months even though they deducted every month. I am currently finishing my 30-day notice since I filed my resignation. I am also surprised that they asked me to give a 30-working-day notice(excluding weekends). So I have to wait for one and a half month. What should I do?
I will appreciate your advice. Thank you po.

write a letter to your admin/finance and inform them that your remittances are not posted in SSS. You can request for copies of their payments to SSS.

did you agree to the 1 1/2 notice period? if not, you are only required to give 30 days notice.

Unfortunately, I agreed to the 1 1/2 months because we were led to believe that was mandated by the law. The company I work for admits that they haven't paid SSS, philhealth and pag-ibig fund. I read in the Labor Code that there are some cases that the employee doesn't have to serve the 30-day notice. Can I consider non-payment as one of those conditions? Thanks> Smile

i don't believe non-remittance can be directly considered an analogous situation, but you can argue it, at your own risk.
