hi good afternoon... i am 34wks pregnant and today is my last day here at work for my maternity leave.. im asking for the advance maternity leave benefits for my employer but she said nanganak ka na ba?? so do i need to wait until aq mkapanganak before nya ibigay skin yun maternity benefits ko as far as i understand iaadvance nya nman po talaga un db? what is the best way para maiexplain ko sa kanya po yun bec. i really need it thanks in advance

Meron ka nang MAT-1 (notification) na binigay?

YES po meron na po matagal na nq nkapag notify s sss... and last month pa po nmin npaguusapan ng boss ko about my maternity leave... tapos ngayon nga po kinukuha ko un advance maternity benefits ko.. parang ayaw nya ibigay until makapanganak ako... pwede po ba ako magcomplain and saang office po..thanks again

Tanungin mo kung bakit ayaw i-advance, at ipakita mo ang nakasaad sa SSS website.

Na-check mo na ba kung na-re-remit ng tama ang mga contributions mo sa SSS?

opo sure nman po aq na nareremit kc po aq po ang nagrereport ng mga remittance nmin thru online... basta sabi po nya lang wag ako makisabay sa mga problema nya... dapat daw npaghandaan ko na po yung ggastusin q kc alam ko nman n buntis daw aq... alam q nman po yun kaso ang kinukuha ko eh un benefits q hindi q po inuutang s kanya un... im so stress mag leleave aq at malapit ng manganak ng wlang hawak na pera... beside im almost 16 years sa ofc kamusta nman ang sahod q wla pang 13k...

Hi! I just want to seek an advise on what I need to do. I filed my MAT1 to my employer last dec 2016 and got my partial pay on june 2017, 2 weeks before I gave birth to my baby on june 18. I passed all necessary documents for my MAT2 on june 28 to my employer. Until now, I didn't receive any full payment from them for my maternity benegit. I called SSS to check if they filed my MAT2 and surprisingly, they told me that my benefit was released last july 28 and possibly be delivered to my employer anytime from now since the processing of check is two to three weeks as per the SSS staff. Hindi po ba, the employer should advance my benefit and within 30 days maprovide nila un sakin? It's more than a month na, actually mag two two months na nga po, and worst part babalik na ako sa trabaho wala parin ung benefit ko. Ang mahirap niyan dito nareimburse na nila ung benefit ko, pero ako wala parin pong nakukuha. Hope you can help me.

Yes, and ang laging sagot nila sakin is still no checque available.

write them formally, mention that SSS has informed you that check has been released. ask them nicely na baka na misplace lang or if wala talaga para you can followup with SSS. make sure to either have it registered or have it received. if after a while na sumulat ka eh wala parin, you can file a complaint

Hello po Atty. Regarding the message I qouted po, may tanong lang po sana ako. Hindi ko alam kung tama yung pagkakaintindi ko ng "employer is given only a period of 30 days to advance you the payment from the time of filing." I filed my mat leave po March 13 and naka schedule napo na leave ako from May 07 to July 05. Ang sabi po ng HR reimbursement will be advanced 30 days from expected due date based on ultrasound results, yung akin po June 01 and here's part of our HR's email
"Upon checking, expected date of delivery is June 1, 2018, hence we will be advancing the benefit on May 15, 2018."

Tama po ba to? I already asked help from my Manager pero ang sabi nila we have to follow HR's policy po.
