Arresto Menor

I rent a condo unit here in Pasig over 6 months na kami dito. Then we want to move out na it is because of some reason like, ang bills namin umaabot na ng 2 months wala pa, water bills 4 months na wala, darating na lang ang mga technician puputulan na kami, we keep concerning this to admin pero wala pa ring action na nangyayari mga statement of account namin laging late ang pag bibigay sa amin. Now we decided to move out at ang gusto ng leasing officer is they want us to pay for the rest 6 months bago kami umalis. Tama po ba na pababayarin kami ng 6 months left na hindi kami titira, we have signed a contract pero walang nakalagay na ganun, but meron ba yan sa batas ng PH? secondly wala akong hinahawakan na contract sa kanila eh. Walang binibigay na contract ever since lagi namin hinihingi laging sinasabi na ibibigay na lang but wala namang binibigay. Thanks and more power.

if there is a verbal agreement to rent it for 1 year, that is valid, but it is not valid to immediately demand 6 months of damages. at most they can get your deposit.
