I plan to rent out a corner of my residential lot to a businessman who wants to open a small eatery. This corner has no structure whatsoever yet, and he has to build his own structure from the ground up. What kind of agreement do we sign? Where do I inquire to get the prevailing lot space rental rate? He if wants to stop the business, do I get to keep his structure for free?

it should be a basic lease contract, and you can ask around your street if there is anything similar. as for the structure, it should be based on your agreement

daf,

i agree, it could be a basic lease contract. with respect to the structure that your prospective lessee would construct, you can stipulate on this in your lease contract.
