what level is it elementary, high school or college?, be it as it may if it is a private school it must possess a permit from deped or ched, relating to the problem of payment of wage or salary, the school must subscribe to the minimum wage or to the prevailing hiring rate of the area or region they are located. With regard to the educational qualification of the teachers; for elementary and high school teachers it must be a board passer to teach to the said level, teachers are agent of the institute or school they are working, it is the school as principal must satisfy the mandates of the law, that teachers must be board passers to teach, if they hired a teacher despite lacking the required educational qualification, the school may terminate the service or impose stipulation in the service contract that it must pass the required teachers board for them to become permanent. Private schools are given wide latitude to decide on the fate of the school, personnel, faculty/teachers they hire provided they follow the requirements of the law both the educational and labor aspect.
