I have a friend who employed a family driver and is working for them for just 3 weeks.
This morning the driver texted my friend that he cannot go to work for 1 week because of family issues (a relative was hospitalised).
My friend is asking if he can force to driver to go back to work in 2 days or else he will find a replacement.
Will my friend violate any labor laws if he do that?
