I'm a working student.. before. It's my first job and it last for 1 year and 2 months. It ended up because of what I think is a force resignation.
Since I'm still a student, hindi po maiiwasan na magkaroon po ako ng abscences. Nagkaroon po kami ng biglaang midterm exams sa ibang subject. Yes, biglaan po because of sunod-sunod na announcement ng no classes. Since it's an exam, kailangan ko pong magreview para makapasa. So I've decided na mag-absent sa work. I've texted the managers on those days that I was absent na hindi ako makakapasok. But after those days, as soon as nakapasok na ako ulit sa work, napag-alaman ko na tinawagan ng area manager namin yung employer ko to inform them na i-pull out na po ako. Because of that, kinausap ko po yung employer ko, nagreport po ako sa kanila together with my other colleague na same din ng case ko (abscences) pero iba kami ng reason. Nakapag-explain po ako, nakapag-usap po kami ng maayos and binigyan nila ako ng first and last written warning. We follow the right procedure for punishments with regards sa case ko. Akala ko, okay na po ang lahat pero napag-alaman ko na tinawagan ng area manager namin yung employer ko, insisting na gusto niyang mapull-out na ako sa store, na magstart na akong magrender ng 30 days. Tama po ba yun?? And as what I've mentioned above, yun part na nagreport po ako sa employer ko, may kasama po ako, same kami ng case (abscences), 4 consecutive days sa kanya, 3 consecutive days sakin. Reason niya, minaltrato siya ng boyfriend niya; reason ko is nagreview ako for midterm exam. Punishment sa kanya.. WARNING. And sa akin, TERMINATION/FORCE RESIGNATION?? Tama po ba yung binigay nilang punishment sakin?
Sana po masagot niyo ang aking katanungan. Because of what I've experienced, ayoko na pong magtrabaho especially kapag related sa food industry.
