Hi po, Gusto ko lang po malaman, kung sakali na ipapa'late registry ko po ang anak ko. ano po ang mangyayari sa naunang birth certificate nya? May 23, 2013 ko po sya pinanganak. Gusto ko po sana na matanggal ang surname ng tatay sa bata, nag hiwalay na po kami ng tatay nya nung 2013, and since then hindi na po sya nagbigay ng sustento sa bata. Also just to inform lang din po, kasal na po ang tatay ng anak ko ngayon sa ibang babae. Thank you so much po.

the first certificate will still be considered the official one

So paano po matatanggal yung surname ng tatay nya. Tska valid reason naman po di ba na hindi sya nagsusustento sa bata. Thank you po sa pag sagot.

you would have to file a petition in court.

As from 2008 all LATE REGISTRATION certificates are deleted from NSO PSA database, so the first birth certificate lamang ang i o honor or ang lalabas sa NSO PSA whenever you will ask for a birth certificate copy. Huwag mo ng ipa late registration, ipa correct mo nalang yung unang birth certificate but you must attach a annulment of your marriage certificate, opinion lang naman

Hi Jhanereza, thank you for your opinion. Actually hindi kami kasal ng tatay ng anak ko. So wala akog annulment certificate na sinasabi mo, pero ngayon he got married already. Nag asawa na sya ng iba at kasal na sila. I just want to remove his surname sa pangalan ng anak ko. Since simula ng naghiwalay kami he has never support the child. He did not even want to communicate siguro dahil nga ayaw nya magbigay ng sustento. So I want to know how can I remove his surname and his rights to my daughter legally.
