Hello,

Ask ko po kasi sinasabi ng employees namin na kailangan may separation pay kapag magpapalit ng lokasyon yung business. Tama po ba ito? same name, pero kukunin pa rin po namin yung mga parehong empleyado puwera na lang kung ayaw nila doon sa bagong lokasyon.


Paano din po kinocompute yung 1/2 month for separation pay? ang nacompute ko na po kasi
313 working days (since 6 days sila * 52 weeks) * daily wage divided by 12 divided by 2

If your moving from the Phil to maybe Taiwan, it amounts to a closure of business, then yes a separation pay.

If you are moving from Manila to Quezon City or Makati, No Separation Pay needed.
