Hi. Ask lang po ako advise. Im working sa call center and usually graveyard shift ako. For the last 1 year na nagwowork ako sa company namin, nde ako umaabsent not even late. Pero lately napansin ko na lang na lagi ako nagkakasakit due to fatigue. Nagpapatsek up ako and the doctor diagnosis is either over fatigue or vertigo since lagi ako nakakaranas ng hilo, nausea and vomiting. I wanted to have an immediate resignation sana kaso the company wants me to provide medical recommendation from the doctor that I am not fit to work in order for them to approve my immediate resignation. fortunately, after several lab test and consultation, my health condition is normal though some lab test is a bit high but still, it is not a ground for immediate resignation. With no choice, i render a 30-day resignation a week ago. Ask ko lang, kahit ba nakarender nko resignation, do I really have to stay in the company for 30days even if my health would suffer? If some cases, pwede ba ako umabsent during the 30 days and submit med cert? Hindi naman cgro nila iuusog or dadagdagan ung 30days ko ng days kung kailan ako absent? Does it fall under 2. Inhuman and unbearable treatment...law?
