I am seeking legal advice and need help on this.
I am currently rendering for resignation in my current company (13/09-15/10). I filed it on September 13 and they my bosses signed and approved the letter, indicating that my last day will be on 15/10. My new employer required me to report to them on 16/10, and that I have signed the contract in which my current employer knows.
Unfortunately, I am ill due to a head damage (still under medication) and was advised by the doctor to undergo therapy. (PS: I still have the company's granted 8 days sick leave for this year). I might be able to come back and report to work in the last week of my rendering days.
Is the sick leave and vacation leave counted in the 30 day period?
Am I liable to extend it?
