Good Day,

I would like to confirm if an employee should be paid during suspension of work, when employee is absent before the suspension.

Is there a rule stating this kind of situation.

Basically it's no work no pay. there is nothing in the law that states that employers should pay employee during work suspension unless stated in your policy or CBA.

Sa copany namin may CBA ruling tungkol dyan if there is typhoon at pumasok ka you will be paid 150% of your salary per day.. pag di ka nakapasok then no work no pay pero di affected ang perfect attendance.. yan e kung may CBA ruling tungkol sa bagay na yan..
