Hi po atty., yung bf po ng friend ko kasal but since 2010 di na cla nagkikita nung wife nya,tapos po sinabi ng wife nya thru chat na may ka live in na daw sya (wife)..gusto po pakasalan ng guy ung friend ko at hindi po alam ng guy ang whereabouts ng wife.pls advice po thank you..btw,foriegner po pala ung guy.thanks again.

Dto po daw kc cla kinasal sa pinas nung wife nya,tapos po pwede po ba mag file ang guy ng divorce kahit sya po ay nandito sa pinas?nag aaral po kc sya dto..salamat po sa sagot.

depende sa laws ng bansa nila. ang pwede nyang gawin after madivorce is have the ex-wife recognize the divorce in the Philippines.

Under the New Civil Code of the Philippines, divorce can only be apply to foreigner spouse. so if your friend wants to file divorce, he/she must be a US Citizen first.
