My Grandfather is landless but was given a chance to be one of the beneficiaries of a piece of rice paddies through the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) initiated by the late President Marcos and had been religiously paying his monthly amortization at the Land Bank in Sipocot , Camarines Sur and had been tilling the piece of rice paddies up to the time he got sick and died. Unknowingly and unaware a certain neighbor and a Teacher by profession in Camarines Sur (location of property) was so influential that she was able to have the lots surrounding hers including the lot my grandfather had been working on be titled under her name. Afterwards, she filed a Barangay case stating that we need to stop tilling the land. (as of the moment no court case filed by them )
- we still have copies of said payment on Land Bank as proof, but in any case what should be our next move?
- we can not continue paying the monthly amortization at the Land Bank since they were able to have it titled.
-we still have by the way the original "certificate of land transfer" named to my grandfather through the late President Marcos (CARP)program.
