Hi a friend of mine needs help po. Her salary was put on hold dahil hindi daw po authorize yung salary increase niya. She's been working dun sa company na yun for almost 4 years. Lately she was kind of promoted and transferred to the head office, sabi ng company she will have an adjustment since the minimum wage from her current place of work is way too different from manila's minimum wage. There was a recommendation from her head na she will be receiving Php 15,000/monthly from her current wage of Php 10,000/monthly. To make the story short, after 5 months of working in manila she's receiving Php 15,000/monthly nga then ayun sabi ng employer unathorized yung increase since walang sign or notification. They keep insisting na if ever may increase, it will be only Php 12, 847.80. Now the employer holds her salary and they wanted to compute the "alleged" unauthorized increase based sa difference ng Php 15,000 versus minimum wage of manila na Php 12,847.80,. They keep telling her rin po na hindi nya daw naiintindihan yung logic, oo daw po na wala siyang kasalanan pero siya daw po ang nag benefit nung sahod. She's not the one na gumagawa ng payroll, kaya wala po siya access dun.
Ano po ba dapat niyang gawin? Kasi mukhang walang balak po ang employer na irelease ang sahod nya at mga susunod pang sahod hanggat di nababawas yung difference na sinasabi nila.
