I would like to inquire regarding the separtion pay.
My mother-in-law died last Dec. 20, 2010 bec. of Stage 4 Breast Cancer.
She worked in a hospital since 1976. She got separated from it last July 2010 due to her Cancer.
(34 years) Her last salary was 11,000.00 php
The employer gave 50,000.00 php last December as initial payment for the separtion pay.
Questions?
1. How much should she receive as her separation pay?
2. What is the minimum and maximum number of months that we should wait for the balance received?
3. Can we require the employer for the computation of the separation pay?
