Good Evening,

My daughter is now 1yr and 3months old and she's using my surname,. I would like to ask if I Can change the surname of my daughter to her father's surname. but were not married yet could it be possible?

And how long does it take the process?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible if the father acknowledges your child (if he signed on the birth certificate or by executing an affidavit of acknowledgement of paternity). You should also execute an Affidavit to Use Surname of Father. This can be done through the local civil registry where your child's birth certificate is registered. It can take about a week.
